The LAV-25

The LAV-25 (Light Armored Vehicle) is an eight-wheeled amphibious armored reconnaissance vehicle used by the United States Marine Corps. 

It is powered by a 6V53T Detroit Diesel turbo-charged engine that engages it's unique 4-wheel drive (rear wheels) that's transferable to 8-wheel drive.

The LAV-25 is fitted with a 360° traversing turret and armed with an M242 Bushmaster 25 mm chain gun. A M240C sits on a scissor mount outside of the gunner's hatch.
